About
Skylar Moore is an attorney who knows what it is to stand in her client’s shoes. Having personally walked the paths that many of her clients face, Skylar is able to other real world guidance in addition to legal counsel. Whether handling an emotional divorce and custody battle or navigating a complex business litigation case, she has an intuitive understanding of not only the immediate legal issues of her clients, but also the long-term consequences of those decisions. For that reason, she works closely with each of her clients to create legal strategies to help them achieve both their short and long term goals.
Skylar focuses on family law, including complex and high-asset divorces, business litigation, contract drafting and disputes, real estate law, and construction law.
Skylar earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Baylor Law School. In addition to being a licensed attorney, Skylar became a certified mediator in 2016. She then went on to earn her certification to mediate Advanced Family Law Litigation and Advanced Civil Litigation in 2021. Skylar is a member of the State Bar of Texas - Family Law Section, Collin County Bar Association - Family Law and Real Estate Sections, Texas Bar College. She has also been voted a Super Lawyers - Rising Star in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Before she became an attorney, Skylar spent nearly two decades in business development and project management. She has over ten years of experience working in commercial development. She also continues to teach continuing education courses.
